It is really easy to join our club and we are always looking for new members. Our sessions are structured in a way that makes it quite simple to get involved with more than one entry point depending on your age, ability and experience. We welcome complete beginners and individuals who have never taken part in any wheelchair sport or even picked up a basketball before. Alternatively, if you have played basketball or other sports previously then we can start you in a session that matches your ability.

The vast majority of our members that have attended sessions over the years have said that they had never done anything similar prior to their first session and that they felt apprehensive before hand. However, thankfully we have lots of examples where people have said those fears soon disappeared after they arrived. With a warm welcome, no pressure to take part and being able to set your own goals our members benefit from progressing at their own pace.

Everybody's first session is free with absolutely no obligation to keep attending sessions or taking out our membership. We have a club information document which can be given explaining everything from registrations through to sessions and pathways. Those who wish to become members will be invited to our Spond group. Spond is a group management tool that allows us to add members to appropriate groups and invite members to specific sessions, as well as keep everybody up to date with club news, information and events.
