Our Team Thunder sessions provide the opportunity for players to play within a team whilst developing the technical and tactical elements of the game. Based more around the rules and regulations of the sport there is a greater emphasis on teamwork, classification and competitive fixtures. However, our priorities as a club are very much based around health, wellbeing and enjoyment and these remain an integral part of our sessions.

With additional opportunities to take part in British Wheelchair Basketball and UKWB sanctioned competitions, members of Team Thunder will have a range of fixtures, tournaments and friendly matches to work towards which gives purpose to the weekly training sessions. Individual and collective development often increases with goals set around fixtures although leading a happy, healthy, active lifestyle will always be our focus as opposed to any win at all cost mentalities.
