Our Lightning Bolts session is a fun, inclusive session for youngsters to build confidence and play games. Designed for youngsters aged between 6 - 11 years of age these sessions are play based in a pressure free environment. Coaches and volunteers run fun activities for our Lightning Bolts that include games such as British Bulldog and Stuck in the Mud, all played in sports chairs. This session is an ideal opportunity to start building fundamental abilities such as agility, balance and co-ordination but more importantly it enables children to be themselves, socialise with others and make friends whilst being active.
A range of mini sports chairs are on site as well as floor baskets and sponge balls. Both disabled and non-disabled siblings can take part in the same activities at the same time and we encourage friends and family to join in to ensure our youngsters feel comfortable and can proudly show off their skills.

We appreciate attending a new club can be quite daunting but you will have a very warm welcome with every new member having their first session free of charge. We do require weekly subs to help us cover our overheads and run a sustainable club but all the equipment is provided with sessions ran by qualified, experienced volunteers and coaches.
