Conwy Thunder are delighted to announce two new sponsorship deals that will help sustain the club over the 2026/27 season.

Wales & West Housing will be the lead, gold sponsor with investment made to enhance several areas within the club. In addition to supporting the club to buy new match vests Wales & West Housing are supporting the club to develop additional pathways increasing the quality of opportunity available to members.

Anne Hinchey, Group Chief Executive of Wales & West Housing Group, said: “As a values-led organisation we are passionate about opening up opportunities for all. We are proud to be sponsoring Conwy Thunder for the 2026/27 season and hope that it makes a difference to their work, supporting people in our communities to enjoy the benefits of physical activity.”

Wales & West Housing’s logo will feature on the club’s new website, social media channels, marketing materials and on the front of the club’s new warm up and training t-shirts. Staff from Wales & West Housing will also be taking part in activity sessions at the club with team building and EDI sessions available, highlighting the impact that adapted physical activity can have on people’s health and wellbeing.

Paul Jones, Conwy Thunder’s Head Coach, added “We’re extremely grateful to Wales & West Housing for sponsoring the club. Their support not only safeguards our club’s immediate future but also allows us to develop our sessions to support more people in the local community, especially those who can’t take part in running activities, improve their health and socialise in a friendly, inclusive environment.”

Specsavers Llandudno are also partnering with the club with the local opticians and audiologists becoming the club’s silver sponsor. Their investment also enables the club to develop our playing opportunities expanding the pathway from what has previously been on offer. Specsavers Llandudno staff will also be able to take part in staff team building sessions at the club with additional sessions around inclusion made available to them whilst their logo will also feature across club publicity.

Conwy Thunder Chairperson, Mark Richards, added “Specsavers Llandudno have long supported community clubs and it’s fantastic that they are sponsoring Conwy Thunder. Their investment provides stability and allows us to enhance the opportunities we offer. We’re looking forward to welcoming staff to the club for sessions and working with them in the future.”

Wales & West Housing and Specsavers Llandudno join Devise Technology as our commercial sponsors. Devise Technology is ran by club volunteer, Sean Ganley, and have kindly sponsored the new volunteer kit. The club are incredibly grateful for the support of the Ganley family who have volunteered in numerous ways for a significant period of time in addition to taking out the bronze sponsorship package.
