Donations
Our club is ran by volunteers and with support from our commercial partners. Whilst we collect subs and make every effort to run a sustainable, cost effective club, donations are gratefully received and make a real difference to the opportunities we provide.
In addition to costs most community clubs face, such as venue hire, affiliations, officials, equipment etc. wheelchair basketball clubs like ourselves also need to source funding for expensive sports chairs that can range between £1500 - £7500 and then pay for items such as new tyres, inner tubes and bespoke strapping.
There is absolutely no obligation to make a donation but every penny received is very much appreciated and enables us to continue working to improve the health and wellbeing of our members.
Make a difference
For those wishing to make a donation to the club, and able to do so, you can commit as much or as little as you like. Donations can be made on a one off basis or be set up for more regular payments. Please note there is a 2.9% fee taken by the payment provider, the rest of your donation will come directly to Conwy Thunder. Thank you.
